Alternative Health Care

Aspen Park Veterinary Hospital offers a full range of medical and surgical options to treat your pet.  Sometimes however the traditional route is not the best option for your pet.  When an alternative treatment plan is needed or desired, Aspen Park Veterinary Hospital provides a variety of services to meet your pet’s needs.  Below is a short list of just a few of our services, and their benefits.

Acupuncture

Acupuncture is an ancient Chinese practice used for thousands of years.  Acupuncture stimulates energy flow throughout the body by activating key energy points with small needles.  Commonly used for pain relief, Acupuncture can be used to treat a wide range of conditions.

Class IV Infra-Red Laser

Class IV Infra-Red Laser can be used to treat pain, speed healing, assist the body in fighting infection and illness and has almost unlimited practical applications.  Laser therapy works by stimulating the Mitochondria that power all the cells in your pet’s body.  When Mitochondria are functioning properly the body’s own recuperative abilities are greatly increased.  Class IV Infra-Red Laser is more effective than many other types of laser therapy because a class IV laser penetrates deeply into the soft tissue, stimulating more Mitochondria and creating a cascade effect throughout the entire body  (see the Class IV Infra-Red videos via the Services and Science Menu Item).

Alternatives to traditional medications

Aspen Park Veterinary Hospital also offers a wide variety of alternatives to traditional medications.  From herbal remedies, to vitamins and everything in between.  At Aspen Park, we believe if a specific regimen of therapy does not work, do something different.  We want changes for the better!
